I love distressed decor and this piece is definitely distressed, to the point where I can’t tell if it’s just distressed or crosses over into the territory of cheaply made. It has cracks deep in the wood and the joints aren’t matched up. Also they sent the hardware with it instead of adding it on, which I think is very unprofessional. That means it’s not ready to hang when it arrives and instead you have to hunt up tools and affix the hanger to the back yourself! I’ve had this for over a year and it’s still not hung. That’s how inconvenient it is to receive a piece of wall art that you have to finish the manufacturing on yourself. I’ve got mine standing against the wall on top of our hallway table.
