Aimee Solid Wood Mechanical Tabletop Clock Brown

Very disappointing. This is an expensive clock with a full retail price of $2,370, and I expect it to reflect the quality of a fine clock. The wood case should be nicer. It is not as shown in the photo. The brass feet are uneven. The brass handle on the top feels and looks cheap and unfinished. The back door is not flush. The hammers that strike the chime rods need adjustment as the tone is stifled. Hermle has a reputation for producing fine clocks. Based on this clock, they do not deserve such reputation. I would expect more from a clock costing one tenth the price. Think Timex.
