Abstract Non-Wall Damaging Window Decal

We got this to set up for spring and summer in the north west. We were told that summers are short but can be very sunny and heat up our home quite a lot. We also love bird watching and wanted a way to keep the birds from seeing us while we watch them. We put it up in less than an hour using soapy water in a spray bottle, a straight edge razor and a squeegee. It’s perfect for what we needed. Time will tell if it keep the house cooler but so far the birds love it and use our window feeders way more now. They can see in at night but during the day inside the house is invisible for them. Makes great birdwatching from the couch possible.

East to install. Has made a big difference as it allows me to see put, but keeps the windows from heating.

Great product. Pretty easy to install. It definitely has more glare than I expected which is great! The roll is decent size. We did our whole front door with it. Wish it came with tools, that would be my only complaint.

The packages came on time, nice tint good quality easy to install on the window. The window tint give you privacy and sense of protection from people looking in your home. The decal was easy to peal on and off and easy to cut and mange.

This privacy window decal came shipped very securely in a cardboard box, and arrived in great condition. The film is quite light reflective on the one side, and will no doubt help with bright light coming through a window. I have not yet installed this decal because of colder weather, but this film appears to be extremely thick. So far I am very impressed.

So I got this privacy decal because I liked how it looked on Fixer Upper transformations more than the privacy itself. It came with pretty clear directions (you need a squeegee, scalpel, soapwater solution spray, ruler and tape measurer -- which I thankfully all had). Measuring and cutting was a breeze, and putting it on was not terrible (I feel like it would be much easier for a square or rectangular shape - mine was oval!). I felt like the film was too thick not at all how it looked in the directions and by the time I was done putting it on, there is a bunch of wrinkles in the film. The air bubbles were fairly easy to remove. The reason I gave it four stars is because now when the sun is shining on it, you can see the wrinkles reflecting. It also feels kind of naked because you can't see the metal pattern in the window (not the films fault obviously b/c it does what its supposed to). From the inside it looks good.

This is a horrible product! If I could give it -5 stars, I would. It comes on a roll and really holds the roll shape, but it has to be FLAT to get it to stick to the window. There is no adhesive or clingy material, so youre expected to spray soapy water on the window to get it to cling! There is way better window cling technology than this available in the marketplace. This is a very cheap attempt at getting around using material that clings. Aside from the application, Im not convinced that this will actually work when theres light coming from inside. It looks more like a room darkening film. Very disappointed.
