I purchased the three set series: 12, 16 and 19. I did not care for the finish on the 19 because it was splotchy and looked like polka dots. So I returned it. You can't hang these with a regular picture hanger because of the hanging hardware that is attached to the sea star (see photo) - you'll need to hang them with a flat head screw. OK - not a fatal issue but a "best to be aware of" issue. My other complaint is that the hanging mechanism can be unscrewed but can't be screwed into a new location because of the plaster like composition of the sea star. It just will not screw into a new location without simply crumbling the plaster. Practically speaking, that means if you purchase, for example, three 12" sea stars, they will all look the same and be oriented the same. This little feature prevented me from buying five 12" sea stars. But they are definitely adorable. So if you can live with all of the foregoing, I'm recommending them with foregoing reservations.

Heavy duty, high quality and looks great. Easy to hang and makes a great piece, especially when combined with the other sizes. Note that this is just one piece an order!
