The back plate is plastic and it is smaller than I was expecting but it is every bit as adorable as I was hoping for.

Great size and cute design. However very cheap looking in person. Not a true gold color, finished with a removable plastic back. Does not look like it will last and seems cheaply made. Did not expect this type of quality for the price.
