Bought this because of the glowing reviews calling it “sturdy.” Now to be fair I was covering a very wide window and hanging heavy velvet drapes. I used the drywall anchors that came with the rod and they began to pull out of the wall. I then attempted to put in heavier duty drywall anchors and well, that didn’t work out either. Another issue I had was every time I tried to close the curtains, the rods would separate. This may work well on smaller windows or if you connect them into studs. I have learned my lesson.

Would have given them a higher rating but because the brackets are one piece instead of two it's not possible to get a screw driver or screw gun straight on the screw head. The screws are low quality so the heads strip easily, especially since you can't get the screwing device straight on them. Also, the finials for the 84" sheer bar were extremely difficult to screw into the bar - required a pliers. The product descriptions for the various sizes do not give the adjustable size range. I called your support and they didn't know and could find out either. They sent an information request to the manufacturer who sent an incorrect response back to me. I finally found the adjustable size ranges by looking at a different curtain model from the same manufacturer.

Love the look of this curtain rod. Ordered 3 of them. They are sturdy as long as you know how to properly mount hardware. I hung sheers and blackout drapes on each rod. Be sure to install the center support ibracket if your window is wide. Glad I bought these.
