Not as depicted. The ring lacked striations and there are flat areas on the edges giving the impression it was chipped and repolished. If I didn't have to pay for shipping, I'd return it. I will say shipping was fast and very well packaged. Customer service worked hard to answer what material the base was made from and never got an answer from the manufacturer. Wow. My first experience with Wayfair fell way short of expectations.

I love this piece. The only thing I would point out is if you have children it might not be sturdy in the iron holder enough to withstand being knocked over. So be careful!
