Much cuter upon arrival!

This praying angel is so different from what one usually finds in stores. The design is so interesting in an abstract sort of way. The color red is not something I'm usually drawn to, but I really enjoy the color on this small sculpture. I also like the weight of it.

This gorgeous price of artwork was handmade in Kenya. As you can see she is an angel in prayer, painted red with white stripes and dots! I have several pieces from Kenya given to me by a friend who came from there, but this is my first religious piece. I love the natural simplicity in their work. They use materials from the earth such as wood and clay ( of which I believe this is made )., which keeps the artwork very eco friendly. Just love it! It also brings funds into a nation, area, for its people. This item came quickly and was shipped in the same box as another item. The Angel was wrapped very securely.
