I took my time to review because I'm so upset. PERFECT clock for what I wanted. At first I was disappointed because I originally thought it was textured. Like it had some dimension to the face of the clock. I thought maybe plaster? I didn't know. So, I took a picture of it and it shows just like the picture on the Wayfair website! So, that's just the way it photographs. I was still happy with it. The reason that I gave it 1 star is because me, my sister and my niece, all 3 tried to get it to work...and it doesn't! We followed the instructions, to the "T" and it ran briefly and stopped, each time. The hour hand just falls down and it stops. I'd love a replacement, if it came already working. But, I am DREADING sending this one back. I'd hate to have to do it, twice! I made all of these changes in my house and even sold my old clock. Idk what I'm going to get to replace this one. That's what I wanted.
