I bought these boxes for my wedding. I was going to use the big box for my cards on my gift table, and the small box to carry our rings in down the aisle. I was hesitant on buying these bc some other reviews talked about the boxes arriving damaged, and I too, had the same problem. They are beautiful, and perfect for what I want, but the big box arrived damaged. There's a large crack across the entire top of the box- right where my guests would see it, so it's not like I can use it still. Although the smaller box arrived in the bigger box and the shreds of styrofoam were everywhere mangled in the bigger box, the smaller box ended up ok with no damage. I've requested them to be replaced, and Wayfair's going to take care of it, which I'm happy about- this is my first time returning to Wayfair. A note on improving- I think the box the boxes were sent in were too small, and it caused the big box to crack as it was too tight on the mother of pearl. I'm really looking forward to using these, so I hope they can stabilize the shipping on the second set of boxes.
