They definitely blocked out the light 100%, but the natural was more tan and not as light colored as shown in the picture. The fabric was heavy, dull and took too much time to steam iron out the wrinkles. I think I will need something more towards a polished linen or polyester blend to get the look that I want for my master bedroom drapes.

These blackout curtains are attractive and the river blue color is pretty. I like the white lining in them. It is so much nicer than the black lining of some blackout curtains. They provide darkness except at the very top where a little light escapes but overall, effective.

A little poly sheen to the fabric with the mix of fibers but much better for look and feel than the "plastic bag" type curtains that most brands offer now. Excellent for blackout quality. I like that they are lined. The creases from being folded in the packaging last a long time-- I will need a steamer, because I don't think they would survive washing. The taupe/light beige has a nice warm tone to it, lovely color, and much nicer than some beiges that can feel dingy or drab. Overall a huge improvement in my room for a reasonable price.
