• For Inside Mount: Measure your window horizontally with a steel tape measure in three places; top, middle, and bottom, use the smallest measurement, rounding down to the nearest ¼ inch then subtract ¼ inch from the width and order this size. This will ensure the raising and lowering of the shade in the window frame. For example, if the smallest measurement is 36 inches, then you should order 35 3/4 inches as the width.
• Please Read the Important Information About Sizing Your Cordless Cellular Shade Below. Your shade will arrive with a 1/4 deduction. The minimum depth required to install the inside mount is 2 inches.
• For Inside Mount: If you would like to install the shade inside of the window frame, measure horizontally, at the top of your window sill. Using the measurement, round down to the closest whole number. Your shade will arrive with a 1/4" deduction, to ensure a perfect fit. If you would like to install it inside of the window frame, your window sill must be at least 2" deep.
• For Outside Mount: If you would like to install your shade outside of the window sill, measure in the same place. Using the measurement, we recommend adding 4 to 5 inches to the width and length, to ensure full coverage. Your shade will arrive with a 1/4" deduction.
• Hardware: End caps, simple snap-in top mount brackets, and mounting hardware are included. Headrail size: 1 5/8 High and 1 7/8 Deep (2 3/16” Deep with bracket).
• Our shades offer sound absorption and provide a privacy factor of 4 out of 5. These are not blackout shades, they will allow light to filter into the room.
