Look closely at the specifications. I thought we were getting a distressed wood, but really it's MDF wood and painted. Everyone else thinks it looks great-but it's not what I thought I was buying. The mirror is made well, it just doesn't look as 'wood-like' as I had hoped. We kept it because it was the last piece in a big project and we were ready to be done. If you don't need it to look or feel like distressed wood, the mirror will be fine for you.
