Purchased multiples of this linen valance with wooden buttons. I was looking for a valance that was not very formal, and this valance fit the bill. It has light-filtering properties, so it doesn't make the room too dark.

They go quit well with the styling of our living room and the length covers the top of the window and down far enough to block the sun coming in during the early hours and late afternoon. Their durable and have a relaxing laid back appearance while the buttons gives them an unquestionable new and different look. However, the order was incorrect.
