This very soft blanket looks very similar to the chenille cotton tufted blankets of yesteryear. It is the softest blanket I have now. The raised design is not noticeable as you use this blanket. It is very light and warm. The color is a warm rose and not as the color appears on your computer screen. The color is most similar to the 3rd picture above. I got the pink one. I thought the color was true to what was shown online. I was hoping for it to be a little bigger, but it is a King size. My Maltese sleeps with me and even though he visits a groomer monthly I have found that his nails have picked the material in a couple of spots. This blanket never stated it was dog approved and tbh I expected this as with any waffle blanket . Will definitely purchase again when needed but will dry this blanket on a very low setting.!. Debra.
