Octogramme en métal doré Eclipta

I really love how this gold metal octagram looks on our basement bar shelves! It is a bit larger than I thought when I ordered it but I styled it on the top shelf and really like how it pulls it all together. 

This metal goldish decor is not as fancy as it looks in the photos. You can see where the ends meet and it’s not really well made. It kinda looks cheap. It came pretty quickly and well packed. I don’t recommend it for a home but definitely for an office.

Although it’s nice, the metal is thin. I was hoping it would be more substantial and be able to have its own “presence” but I’m going to have put something else along with it. . Also,the way it is made, there is no way it can sit flat on any of its sides. It is somewhat star shaped if you look at it at a certain angle, but it’s just two boxes welded together.

This is a perfect decorating extra. It gives great texture and shape to any flat service. My decorating style is generally modern farmhouse and I think this hits the nail on the head. Its a great flat gold tone. I placed it with this giant jack and I think they compliment each other well.
