Vase de table en bois Burnetta

Beautiful vase with unique natural markings.

I just received my Burnetta Wood Table Vase, this afternoon, delivered by FEDEX ground delivery service. The vase was well packaged in a couple of layers of bubble wrap sheet and tissue paper. The vase is carved from teak wood and contains deep rich colors and distinctive wood grain comes through in the fine deep finish. I have placed it on my blue French Provincial style side board cabinet, in my kitchen along with my bull elk statue and bronze casting of a bear and her cub standing on a log with 3 trout swimming past the rocks below. Above, on the wall, is my large print of 2 woodland caribou with mountains in the background. Together, everything compliments on another. I have placed silk flowers in the vase to add an additional detail and point of interest. The purchase of the teak vase was a a good investment and I will enjoy looking at the vase over in the years to come.

I personally can live with it but I have to honestly say that this will turn some people off. Nowhere does it say it "may" have knots/voids in the wood and I can see this being a real issue. As you can see in my pictures there’s a large void in the wood on one side of the outside of the vase. Does it lend character? To me it does, but it would have been nice if the description was honest. For me this missed the mark.

I don't like it because it's came light brown instead of dark and light. With one color it's not nice and not matching the picture.

I have used this lovely bowl to make a woodland art piece. It is beautiful!
