Wood pattern of hull on the model I received is different than example on website. My model has hull of alternating bands of dark and light wood....giving the ship a striped appearance. Also, all-white rigging doesn't match example on website. Best to make it dark rigging as in all other models by Old Modern Handicrafts. I chose to keep it...but those expecting a hull of a single color (as I did) should know of a potential variance. That said, it's a well-built model.

A very nice model! It arrived with one of it’s cargo hooks broken off, taking a bit of the rail with it - but glue was included in the package and it was easy to fix. The model was covered with dust and one of the sails has some loose stitching threads hanging (looks kinda bad). But, in general, I’m satisfied with this purchase. The actual ship is a local celebrity and evokes some fond memories for me.

Wonderfully packaged. Beautifully made. Dad loves it.
