I am the son of Vladimir Yourkevitch, who is the designer of the hull and it's credited for reducing water friction so the ship could travel at high speed with less power requirements. The model is great, but the indentation in the hull that vtrestrd the friction lessening, the width of the ship and the size and width of the three smokestacks seem incorrect.

the quality is great and shipping was really fast. Love it!

I have purchased four models from OHM (Old Modern Handicrafts) through Wayfair and been pleased with all of them. This model of the Normandie is an extremely nice example and for anyone who likes quality ship models these are outstanding. No hesitation to recommend.
