I like the effect these panels are having in my living room, however, they are impossible to hang level—the construction of them is wonky, the antique white paint is chalky and flakes off at the slightest movement and touch. I measured precisely the straight edge 7.75 inches from door frame, and 20 inches from floor. But as you’re can see in this photo, they do not look as though they are hung straight. I’m keeping them because I do like the softening effect. But, be forewarned that they are quite rustic in construction and finish.
