Nice vase but I thought the light center and stripes were grooved and painted gold based on the pictures. My mistake because they are actually cut into the wood, but not painted which gives it a more earthy look. Not what I was wanting in bathroom I was decorating, but I wrapped a satin ribbon around the center area and it gave it a more sleek look that I was going for. Great size and quality.
