I purchased this and the butterfly piece as a gift. Both items arrived together, sufficiently packaged and without damage (just some simple bending on the 'wings,' which is easy as they are made of formable wire). These decor are easy to mount upon a wall and look wonderful in a rustic-chic or sunroom-type environment. As I purchased these items on sale, I would say that they were a great value for something handmade. They look and feel high-quality.

I am not one to write reviews. However, I just rec'd this and am incredibly disappointed ! The label which was scotch taped on the back says "Made in Thailand". It must have been made with untrained labor - certainly not an "artisan". Sorry to say, but it is really horrible. The packing was great and probably cost more than the dragonfly. This shouldn't be offered on Perigold's site for even $10 - let alone "on sale" for over $50 with shipping.

So so not clean object!
