Poorly made. Not sure what this sticky stuff is, but it’s gross. Seems the manufacturer thinks that an antique vibe means a hall pass for bad workmanship.

The stand was dented and buckled in several places. It appears this was either entirely or partly due to the seller placing it into a box that was smaller than the dimensions of the stand itself. Also, there were little bumps all over the edges from a poor spray paint job. To Wayfair's credit, they took it back and refunded the cost.
