Love these… so helpful in hanging garland and they protected my new stairs

Do a great job holding garland while protecting the wood bannister.

It does protect but doesn’t stay put.

I love these ties!!!! For years I have used tape, zip ties ribbon but nothing held them in place. These do I have had them up for a week now and have not had to touch them.

Nice concept, but there are 2 things that made them only 3 stars for me: 1) I have fully-decorated (large/heavy/ornate) garland. The ties on the protector aren't really long enough to hold the garland securely even though my garland came with rings on the backside for exactly this purpose. 2) Because of the above, I pulled and stretched and tried twisting different ways to get them to fit. After removing, manipulating, and moving several times (over about 45 minutes of time), they are already starting to fray (the corded fabric around the tie). So, if you have a lightweight, simples strand garland, I could recommend these. For anything substantial, it's a thumbs-down from me.
