Bought this for a end of tour award (Army), it was a little tricky to mount the medal due to the cardboard being too thick to puncture but not quite thick enough to stand up to the force necessary to get the backing through the insufficient pre-cut slit. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and it looks great on the wall
