The frame material is similar to styrofoam, painted to look like wood. One of the two prints came with a corner completely busted. The hanging hardware does not come on the pieces, you have to, you have to install it yourself.

I wouldn’t recommend buying them framed. The pictures are great but the frame is extremely cheap is plastic not glass. The color does not look like the picture nor any “espresso” wood I’ve ever seen.
