Wayfair tint review Omg, okay, if I can do this, almost ANYONE can do this! This was window tint stuff was necessary because I live by the beach with south-facing sliding doors that had no blinds when I moved in a few months ago. I ordered it in May 2026. It’s mid-April now and the sun is getting hotter with every passing day. So, I decided today that I need to just bite the bullet and try to do this myself. I hadn’t done it yet because I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the reviews… [Btw, I’m 46 F, single, my dad just passed away (he was great did all the handyman stuff whenever I needed anything) and I do have a brother but he lives 1.5 hours away.] Well, I used a baby shampoo from the Dollar Tree Store to clean the sliders a few days ago. Oh, and I used that brown paper that comes as “filling” in delivery boxes instead of paper towels to clean. Anyway, it only took about 4-5 minutes to cover the first slider door I did! I still can’t believe it! It took about 45 minutes to do the stationary window slider, however. The roll was too wide to fit right up against the window pane so I had to figure out how to cut the roll down to size. I seriously wish i had a little saw because that would have made it soooo much faster easier. Once the roll was narrow enough to put up against the window, it only took about another 5 minutes until it was finished! (I accidentally trimmed off some of the weather stripping, though, so be careful.) And now I’m leaving this review while I’m ordering another roll for my other south facing windows!

Worked wonderfully on my windows to block out the heat.

It works great for me I have a small window that I always keep open my blinds and this film paper helped me to keep it open also keep my privacy in mind. It was very easy to me! Instructions very clearly explained!

This product is a good value and quality, I’m just not sure it’s going to work for me. The film comes with a cutter and the tool to smooth out the film. For my windows we get a strong afternoon sun, but this is the grey and I think it’s too dark for my house. I’m going to tape a piece up for a while before making final decision.

Looks nice once its up if you can work out all the bubbles. I would recommend 2 people to help if your not used to working with this type of a project . I gave a 4 star because I am very sure someone who knows what they are doing could make it look amazing. The reflective part is amazing
