We had a slightly larger than 1 inch curtain rod and these worked perfectly. The best part is that the screws are hidden by the base of the bracket. And with four screws, they are very sturdy.

These are heavy duty brackets. We currently use ours to hold a wooden dowel hanging from the basement ceiling as an extra clothes rack.

Sturdy brackets that did the job

The mounting bracket in aged brass looks great, matches my solid brass gong so nicely, and will be such a nice complimentary accent to it. All hardware provided and easy to figure out mounting. 5-Stars item
