This was a perfect solution and an economical solution for a modern look on a standard glass door. It works very well, it looks very nice and we wanted something that would open on either side as our glass door opens on both the right and left side. Please be aware it's light filtering not a blackout shade blind. Please be aware it's a nice neutral color that looks grayton in normal lighting but more of a slate with a pinto warm that may appear a little browner when the sunlight is shining through. In our decor that works out fine. The quality is good for the price. But I will say one can't be super rough with it. We have a dog and it is a reasonably safe option for pet owners. There are no cords to worry about. Or slats that can get damaged over time from pets popping their head through vertical lines for example. No drapery for them to get caught up in. Lastly you have an opportunity to cut the blinds to fit from the length perspective. Measuring and cutting was not difficult. The metal bottom piece fit on quite easily. One suggestion take your time measuring and cutting and you'll be fine. There are videos that can be of assistance. We are still enjoying this modern sliding shade and it has held up well in a sunny room.
