About This Product

This one-way heat control privacy window film provides excellent daytime privacy with advanced technology and highly reflective material. With heat insulation, glare reduction, UV-blocking, keeping your home or office cooler, and saving energy for intense summers. Non-adhesive static cling design makes it easy to install and remove and does not hurt your window glass, so it is ideal for both your DIY projects and rental properties. Reflective technology also gives exterior windows a pleasingly uniform, contemporary look. The outside shows silver inside shows the colour you choose. Kindly note that the film cannot provide privacy at night. When the inside light is stronger than the outside at night, the mirror reflective effect will disappear. Installation tips: Before installation, please totally clean the window surface and corners to ensure that there is no dust on them. Remember to remove the protective backing film before applying and spray plenty of water onto the glass surface and static cling side of the window film for adhesion(the more water, the better). After installation, please trim the edges and leave enough gaps between the edge of the film and the window to easily squeeze out the air bubbles.

My condo has french doors in the living room and one bedroom. Even with blinds, the east morning sun heats up the entire unit, taking it all day to cool down. I have been able to lower my thermostat an average of about 2-3 degrees during the day since applying the film and I no longer have to keep the blinds closed tight all day. Surprisingly, it didnt make my room seem dark. The photo above shows the doors with film on the right side only and you can see it doesnt darken the room much. I ordered more for my other french doors. The window film was easy to install and took less than one hour to install. Great product.

Works pretty good! The outside is mirrored when it’s sunny and the inside is tinted as we got the black/silver. The reflection is a little blurry from the outside so not 100% professional look but gets the job done from neighbors looking in on us!! Will need to put down shade when cloudy or dark outside. Glad I can open the window without fear from peeping neighbors!

It definitely makes a difference. I only used it on the bottom because I have too many things on the top window and it wasn’t working with me cutting pieces off to accommodate the raised stickers.
