The shade does exactly what it’s supposed to do and blocks out the light very well, making the room noticeably darker. It’s a great option for bedrooms or any space where you want more privacy and better light control. The only downside is the installation. It’s not as simple as it may seem and requires some attention, patience, and drilling to install it properly. Once everything is measured and secured correctly, though, it works well and looks nice. Overall, I’m satisfied with the shade and its blackout performance, but I would recommend taking your time during installation and having the proper tools ready.

This blind seems well-made. I had envisioned inside mounting it to the sides of the window frame as shown, but the mechanism sticks out too far because of the several small width changes in the frame. This means I’ll have to mount it from the top, and not be able to get it close enough to the window panes that it will sit against the edges and block out light.

These blinds are amazing. They are extremely easy to hang and they are thick and durable. They are definitely black out blinds. They pull up and down with such ease. Better than any I have ever used. I am very happy they are in my home and so will you)
