Had to bend to make it stand up straight and ended up painting it black but I love it.

ordered 4 of these. They are beautiful. Very large. Will be used in my outdoor wedding. The plates for the candles have points to help secure the wax candle in place, but I will be snipping it off for my battery powered candles. On a flat surface they stand well, but since we will be placing them outdoors stakes will be used to secure them to the ground. I'm very pleased with these candle holders, and the centers are large enough that decorative items can be placed in the center, with lots of scroll work to zip tie or wire things to, to help personalize for your needs. It was quiet windy the day they were delivered, and the large boxes caught the wind. They are heavy when put together and standing on their own, but in the box the wind was able to move them around the yard, so they should be pretty easy for someone to move from their patio or porch into their house. They are shipped in a large box, and then Wayfair placed that box in another box, which made a lot of cardboard waste. The candle holder comes in two pieces only, and simply takes screwing the threaded top into the receiving base, no other hardware or tools are required.

This is a wonderful metal standing candelabra! I painted it flat black to go with the other black iron accents on my patio. I hadn’t realize it had sharp posts for real candles. I only use indoor and outdoor battery candles. The posts were easily enough to cut off with heavy wire cutters. I am so pleased with the design and style of this piece!

This was perfect to be used as a unity candle holder for my daughters wedding. It looked beautiful. 

Doesn't completely stand up straight, but I don't want to break them by bending them into place. I purchased 3 and they all have the similar problem. One is straight, but the other 2 are off a bit. Overall, they look nice.
