Ferndown Metal Flat Mirror

Quality mirror but the frame is shiny plastic, which makes it look cheap. Had it on the wall of a bathroom for a year now and I'm thinking I made a mistake keeping it.

The style of the mirror is very nice, if it was not discounted, I never would have paid the regular price. The biggest issue I had with it is it was not well engineered. There is a design flaw which allowed the leaf spring which holds the frame to the mirror, to get wedged in between the mirror and the frame causing scratches on the mirror. There should not be a gap which allowed the leaf spring to slip off the the backing on the back of the mirror. Once it did dislodge, it also pushed the frame out. It was hard to get the leaf spring out, but fortunately, I have a lot of special tools which enabled me to do so and not create further damage. It was fortunate that once I fixed it, the frame was able to cover up the scratches. Wayfair did offer a replacement, and handled my complaint very well, but I didn't want the hassle of having to repackage mirror and send back. They did compensate me for having to purchase more frame wire to hold the frame taught with the mirror. I would have preferred the manufacturer just send this to me. The packaging was good, although it could be much simpler. It took me a good 20 minutes to remove it from the box, you need to do this CAREFULLY! I just purchased a 65" TV and it took me 5 minutes to unpackage. They should tape the hardware to the back of the mirror, there is an abundance of tape used in the packaging, and this small packet could easily get lost in that. This size mirror was perfect for a 28" wide closet door. It is a lot easier if you take the door handle off since you have to tilt the mirror to get it to engage in the brackets.

Very nice and good quality mirror. Hanging it was pretty easy too. Initially the mounting hardware wasn't included in the package, but they replied to my request immediately and sent me the missing hardware. Very good customer service.

I was disappointed by this because the mirror is lovely and looks sturdy, but the reflection is quite distorted. There were also a few small nicks in the glass.

DO NOT BUY. Very poorly made. The corners were uneven & not touching, the frame was chipped, and the mirror is very heavy. We hung the mirror with what was provided and shortly after the mirror fell and shattered all over our bathroom floor.
