Statue cheval en céramique

Beautiful horse figure. However, the dimensions are deceiving. Smaller in person than one would expect, especially the horses head is physically unproportioned. Seems the measurements for depth begin from the hoof down to the tail. And the measurements for width start from grass to tail. It is not 27 inches in height. Overall, my mother is satisfied with her gift. Thank you for the dimensions on the specifications. Please provide a more in depth measurement.
