Overall gorgeous! It can be hung horizontally or vertically. The thickness (sideview depth from the wall) is a little thinner than expected, wished it was more substantial. The mirror itself is actually mildly distorted, but not so bad as a carnival fun-house mirror, so the reflection is ok. We purchased the 78" for the wall behind our dining room table and it opened the entire room and brings in so much light!
