The canvas was poorly positioned on the frame. There was a prominent line drawn down the canvas on the side and bottom which was suppose to go on the edge of the frame. Instead it ended right on the front of the picture.

Winslow Homer is one of my favs And I love this "action" scene

I ordered this to go on the same wall as the wooden px of the deck of a sailing boat--- totally different in style & coloring yet it works like a charm--- I view both pictures at the same time & loving it---the water- the sails against the sky all make for a lovely view
