" Saint George Fighting The Dragon, 1505 " by Raphael

The rearing horse and rider's fluttering cape infuse a dynamic energy into this depiction of George, Patron Saint of England and his battle with the fierce pagan dragon. History tells us this fine work was a prestigious commission by the Duke of Urbino for an envoy of King Henry VII of England. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of colour, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. The replica 4.375" wide, European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported moulding.
