This is much prettier in real life. Large and beautiful. The colors are well done on the canvas and will look great with most colors in any home. We will use it in our staging business.

This may be my favorite print. It arrived speedily and well packed. I am very pleased with the clarity of colors and the quality of assembly. If you love Renoir, this is a must-have!

I bought this as one of three Renoir scenes from the French countryside in Spring and Summer, in a distant, rustic non-mechanized past. This painting centers on a lone hiker ambling through a flower-specked meadow. At a distance one can observe photograph-like perspective and only when we get close do we see the brushstrokes. The lack of detail leaves us with the impression of the moment. We almost expect to see the breeze blowing in the foreground blossoms, and yet it is just a moment, frozen, and the eye is drawn to the sunlight glinting off the lone figure's hat. Because of the balance of this painting and the focus in the horizontal center of the image, I chose to hang this in the middle of my collection of three Renoir prints. The painting is mounted to a solid, sturdy inner frame. The mounting work was excellent. The way the print wraps around the inner frame makes an outer frame superfluous. The print is stapled to the back of the frame. Every staple is fully embedded with even spacing, keeping the print pulled taut across the frame. We hung the painting with Command model plastic picture hanging strips, rated for up to 4 lbs. The product is listed as 11 lbs, but I think that is the shipping weight. In any case, we used 4 strips so the painting is mounted securely and perfectly flush with the wall. Yet because these strips work like Velcro, the painting can be removed and replaced if need be (e.g. for dusting). The order was shipped promptly and packed securely, so it arrived without damage.
