This is not a black out curtain. It was thin material with no thermal lining. The light shines right through it.

Not blackout by any means. They look nice, definitely polyester. Weird texture. The quality is equivalent to the price though.

These curtains,are called blackout. They do not block the light at all. They should be marketed as light filtering. We put them up on a cloudy day and it does not block the light at all. Also, there are 4 places where the backing has a small dot missing and it can clearly be seen thru the curtains. Unfortunately we did not realize the poor quality until they were hung. Luckily they are grommet top so I will purchase light blocking panels elsewhere and double them up. Check it out for yourself. These are falsely being sold as blackout curtains. It would probably be best if you send me a return label so they can be returned at your expense.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. 0 blackout, the regular curtains I have block out the light better than these. Not only that when I pulled them out of the package the blackout backing had fused together, and upon gently pulling it apart caused holes that now the light shines directly through. Dont waste your money.
