Had black blemishes and had to pay to return the item. Would not recommend.

Beautiful bookends! I needed something to put on the bottom of the new table so there they are. The front end is a little wobbly and uneven but still does the job. And yes, I forgot to remove the tags, so they are very visible in the pictures. I just wanted the beauty of the bookends to present in my review.

A little dark bookends against a dark bookcase.

I've been eyeing this bookend set for about a year.... had it in my favorites for that long and finally, I bought it. It's super cute and will be used for decorative purposes. Each bookend is not very heavy... roughly 1.5 pounds each side. It's not really heavy enough to hold large books but since it's decorative, I'm okay with that. I'm using it in my work office and already have gotten compliments on it.
