The corners of the frame were split. They were held together by a light charcoal-like material and staples. Fortunately I had black gorilla tape on hand which I used to hold the corners together. The image is printed on glossy poster paper that looks ok from a distance.

Wow! So much nicer than I anticipated! Such a great addition to a youth bedroom. Everything was perfectly centered. The frame is solid. It comes with the hanging hardware already. I like that it's plastic not glass as it was hung above a bed. Very classy looking not cheesy. Perfect for the transition from youth to teen bedroom.
