I needed curtain rods to hold lightweight sheers, preferably ones that were inexpensive due to me having 2 bedrooms with 6 windows to buy for. I knew these rods were not built for heavy curtains but that's not what I needed them for. They will hold up my sheers perfectly and will look great (and not as ornate as I usually buy) at the same time. These were very easy to hang and I love the "anchors" included with the hardware....they made the process of installation so much easier and pain-free. You will need a 1/4" drill bit (as the instructions tell you) if you're installing into drywall and not a stud. I used a cordless screwdriver/drill and it worked great. I will be steaming my sheers later today so forgive the wrinkles! PS: Lighter gray stripe sheers for one bedroom and darker gray stripe sheers for the other.
