Finding a painting that has our color scheme has almost been impossible. Everything out there is either blue or gray these days. Our house is more jewel tone in that we have gold, tan, burgundy and green which has made it very difficult to find a large format picture to complement our colors. We have purchased several pieces and have returned all of them. When we saw this picture we weren't sure if the reds would be too orange but they're not, they are perfect. We have it hanging against a gold colored wall above the fireplace that has a white mantel and crown moulding. The credenza next to the fireplace is burgundy and this picture complements it perfectly. The combination of red tones surrounded by a white mat and a black frame makes this picture pop! The flowers are quite large in the picture we purchased (32x56) and this really makes a statement when you walk into the room. We love it!
