I like this simple, but cute valance. I replaced one that I had that was dark burgundy and let very little light into the basement bathroom, which the cats are happy about so they can now see their litter box when the light is not on!

The embroidery is beautiful and while it covers the top part of the window, it lets a lot of light through. It is exactly what I wanted and it works well with my main bow window curtains which are also from Wayfair.

I wanted something simple over the kitchen sink. I didn’t want it to be in the way as it would then become another thing in the way that I’d have to clean constantly. This adds a good bit of detail without clouding out the fact that there is a cleanliness factor to it. I really appreciate the lightweight flow of the material, one valance was more than enough for my standard sized window. If you want more tightly woven framing you may need 2.
