Northeaster, 1895 - Winslow Homer, toile tendue avec châssis

This Winslow Homer “Northeaster” wrapped canvas has been a great addition. The rich, moody colors and movement of the ocean create a striking focal point (this is the 26x40 size) without overwhelming the room. The deep blues, warm earthy tones, and soft whites complement any neutral or darker decor beautifully. The walnut frame gives a classic, elegant look. It was also packaged very well. I especially appreciate how it brings depth and character to the space while maintaining a sophisticated, timeless feel. This is a very well-executed reproduction of a classic American artist, and I’d recommend it!

Not really happy with the colors, the wood looks good but the print is not really good and looks very fake. The frame is also very think so I cannot put it behind the door as I intended. The size is on point. Would recommend for somebody that has high sailings and don’t need to put it close to eye level

So very beautiful, the print looks like an original.my wall art of choice is always ocean themed so this painting is perfect for my living room. Pretty frame completes the look, a great addition to any room.

Of all the three pictures I received, this one is the nicest by far. The frame is not wood or metal but since it is a floating canvas, the frame is decent. The canvas is nice and looks more expensive than it is. I will use this behind my sofa in my coastal/nautical living room. Colors are vibrant and picture is sharp. I would say this is a good buy. Again, looks more expensive than the price charged. BTW, I am an artist and have a lot of original artwork in my home. This one is a true winner. Love the painting and subject matter. It is not your typical run of the mill piece of art and looks much more expensive than it costs.

This is a beautiful picture of the ocean, which I love. It arrived pretty quickly and was very well packed. My old phone camera does not do it justice; the colors are more intense. It comes with the hanging hardware, instructions and is very lightweight. I am in the middle of painting a room, so I do not have a picture of it on the wall yet. But it will look great with my other decor.
