Botanique mauve traditionnel traditionnel

What I had thought was simply artistic shading in the online photograph of this painting is actually smudges and watercolor spillage to make it look stained. Apparently, people like this sort of thing because this mess was created quite intentionally. If this had happened to a painting in my possession, I would have tossed it into the trashcan. It's not good enough to donate to Goodwill. I can't imagine hanging this anywhere in the house. I just wanted a simple, sweet flower arrangement without smears, smudges, spills, etc. The only way it would look worse would be the inclusion of paw prints or a dog dragging its bottom upon it. Also, it is nowhere close to being ready to hang. It's a smudged up canvas attached to a frame. Period. Now I have to make the time to return this disappointment.
