Nicely done carving of elephants emphasizing their social nature. The wood used is chinaberry, not the typical suar or teak wood many of the similar wood relief carvings are made from. This piece has a slightly darker brown shade than most of the suar wood pieces on Wayfair. I plan to hang this over a doorway to add interest to a blank spot.
