It's just a marble bowl but it's very attractive and a nice accent piece on my glass coffee table. It's a nice weight and shallow so it doesn't seem like you need to put anything in it. cute hostess gift if you have money to spend.

Marble is a natural material and variations are expected. But that said, I was disappointed by the color of this bowl at first. I wanted the pink-toned matte bowl I see on my computer screen in the Josephine Bowl product image. In real life, the bowl I received is all tans and browns, with a little more shine to the finish. It is a weighty, high-quality bowl, however. It comes with protective foam feet on the bottom to keep from scraping up furniture. It’s a good size for keys, but keys + wallet + sunglasses would be a tough fit. It would look nice on top of a stack of books on a shelf in an office or living room, but would also work in a kitchen or bathroom. It’s the kind of versatile piece you can use for decades.

This bowl is gorgeous, high-quality bowl with a really luxe feel. The marble is beautiful and heavy, and it looks far more expensive than it is. Perfect as a styling piece on a table or console. Simple, elegant, and so well made.
