I love the fabric used in these cafe curtains, it’s substantial yet soft. I ordered them specifically to block our hot summer sun for anyone seated in the pergola on the patio where the long drapes can’t cover. I attached the valance portion of the sets to rod hanging on a low and the rod with the longer curtain parts to the higher beam with the result being that they hang almost even with each other.. Val. Portland, OR. Tue May 26 2026

This window valance brings a traditional, tailored touch to any room. It's made from polyester, and it comes in a range of solid hues to suit your space. I expected the fabric to be a little thicker but I’m very pleased with my curtains. Gave me that French cafe feel I was looking for. The navy blue color is spot on. There are two ways to hang them. The second hole allows for an extra inch ruffle at the top. But I used the top one eliminating the extra ruffle because I wanted the full 18 inch coverage on the window.. Susan. Laurinburg, NC. Wed May 06 2026

Soft Linen 3-Scoop Victory Swag

Very happy with valances which they would make in other colors.. Mary. Alexandria, VA. Tue Sep 29 2026

If your windows could use a touch of yesteryear's sophistication, but you don't want to change your curtains or screens, consider a valance. Popular in Elena decorating, the 38"W x 46"L valance is a decorative weave of fabric hung to give windows an interior bunting effect. Perfect for a bit of window dressing, this faux-silk piece features tassels inspired by the 19th Century, but with a slightly more contemporary update, and if you are looking to recreate the look pictured, three valances are necessary. Only one is included, need to purchase 3 valances to create the same look as the image.
