They are beautifully made and definitely block out the light, the sound, and help insulate the room from the cold. Very nice quality, very heavy. These curtains are really pretty! The fabric is thick and soft. My only caveat would be that they do not block out light at all. I had hoped these curtains would solve the problem of glare on the TV screen during the day- alas, they do not.
